In this course you will learn how to break down the landscape into 4 manageable steps; Proportion, Value Color and Edges. Dominique Demos and walks you through the process from the first mark to last brush stroke. By the end you will have a thorough roadmap of the process and the knowledge to put it into action.
Ideally this exercise should take about 3:00-4:00 hours
You can watch, pause, rewind, rewatch and paint along with the recording at your own pace.

In the References you will find both a still image and a video to work from. Use either or both as you paint.
If possible print the reference at the same size as your canvas/panel. Optionally, You can work from an iPad or monitor.
Who is this Course for?
This course is for Landscape painters working in oil. It is for anyone who wants to improve their landscape techniques.
How to get the most out of this instructional video
Dominique’s demo walks you through the process from start to finish. She shows you how to analyze your subject, compose your painting and paint with a systematic process.
If you are new to landscape painting I would suggest that you just watch the video first, absorb as much as you can and take notes. Dominique narrates giving you a play by play commentary as she paints, walking you through the whole process from beginning to end. Once you have watched the video then replay it and paint along. Pause, paint and replay as often as needed.
If you are an intermediate or advanced painter you can paint along with Dominique.
