Trying to paint a landscape on the spot can be quite overwhelming. In this course you will learn how to break down the landscape into 4 manageable steps; Proportion, Value Color and Edges. Dominique Demos and walks you through the process from the first mark to last brush stroke. By the end you will have a thorough roadmap of the process and the understanding to help you put it into action.

  • Ideally this exercise should take about 3:00-4:00 hours
  • You can watch, rewatch, pause, rewind and paint along with the recording at your own pace.

  • In the References you will find both a still image and a video. (Use either or both)
  • If possible print the reference at the same size as your canvas/panel. Optionally, You can work from an iPad or monitor.
