Assignment
Today we practiced the "wipeout" method. We mixed the average dark color and then toned the canvas with it. Then we wiped out the lights. Once our values looked good we went in with mid tones and lights.  This project is meant to be light hearted. However we still want to work with a timer and systematic approach, just a little looser.  Give yourself 30-1hr per step; 1. Proportion, 2. Value, 3. Color 4. Edge.

Make sure the mark making and texture match the emotion. The expression is the important thing. The likeness is a bonus if you get that too.
