Assignment
Today we broke down our reference and looked for the big proportions, shapes and values. We used angles, verticals and horizontals to map out Ella's forms.
Aim to get your drawing blocked in for next week, really take the time to get your proportions and shapes just right. Don't rush into the values or make them overly detailed. A very light wash will do. We are just trying to get a sense of the basic play of light and shape.
