Theme for the Month | Painting Children with a Limited Palette
 
This month we will do 2 paintings. We will paint a kid's portrait and do a master copy of a Sorolla's, Children on a Beach. In this class we will look at some of the unique attributes of children’s portraiture, and explore things like proportions, skin texture and edges.

Dominique will break down the process into clear steps and narrates as she demos. We will focus on the 4 main aspects of a portrait: Proportion, Value, Color, and Edge. We will use a limited palette that is designed to help you understand color theory and color relationships.
