Theme for the Month | Mixing Skin Tones and Painting the Ear

Painting a portrait with a focus on skillfully mixing skin tones.  We will also be taking a closer look at the structures of the ear. Dominique will provide demos and break down the process of painting into clear and consecutive steps. Our process focuses on the 4 main aspects of a portrait: Proportion, Value, Color, and Edge. We will use a limited palette that is designed to help you understand color theory and color relationships. The painting process we use is bound to give you many insights and inspiration for years to come.
