Assignment:
Drawing inspiration from Euan Uglow we experimented with changing the color of the background in the painting We talked about how changing the value, hue and chroma changes what we focus on in the painting.
Then we broke down the light, mid and dark average skin tones and blocked the colors in.
Get your painting to a similar stage. work in the average colors and feel free to experiment with the background color. The goal is to not lose the drawing as we go into color and if anything lets try and improve and refine the drawing. Working thin to thick makes this possible.
