Assignment:
We started with critiques and then did 20 minutes of gesture drawing with charcoal on toned paper.  We took the drawing further by developing the lights, mid and dark values in the figure. 

• Work on your figure drawing. follow along with the video if that is helpful. 

• Work layer by layer, dont feel like you have to do too much too quick.

• Work dark to light, use the notanizer image (3 values) to help you see the boundaries of the values. 

• Once the darker values are in place lay in the lighter values using the white pencil.
