Theme for the Month | Master Series - John Singer Sargent

In This class we will practice the techniques of the Gilded Age's most celebrated portrait painter John Singer Sargent. You can choose 1 of 5 reference photos to work from, or any Sargent portrait painting that you find on your own would be fine too. Our goal will be to work directly and use his palette. As always We aim to finish the portrait in 4 sessions.

As always Dominique demonstrates the painting process and breaks it down into clear steps. We use a limited palette to help us understand color theory and relationships. Each week students receive critiques. Enjoy lifetime access to the class demos and critique recordings.
