Theme For the Month | Single Session "Alla Prima" Portraits w/ a limited palette

We will paint single session portraits. We will do 2 studies of Sargent's paintings and then 2 portraits inspired by his compositions. This is a great way to loosen up and get back into regular practice. We will focus on the 3 main aspects of a portrait: Proportion, Value and Edge and aim to capture a likeness in 2 hours.
