Theme: Blocking in with Value and Color We return to the fundamentals that make a painting sing, exploring two new approaches: the wipe-out method and value blocking. Rather than working through the four steps individually, we’ll combine them into two stages—establishing proportion and value together, then bringing the painting to life through color and edge. This creates a more fluid and dynamic approach.
