We learn how to posterize and find average color in portraits. Working with a primary palette of 7 colors deepens our understanding of hue, value, and chroma. Each week, Dominique does a step-by-step demo and narrates the process. We work from a variety of portrait and figure references. You’ll complete 2-4 paintings per month and each week students receive critiques.
